Silicon Valley Air Charter is an on-demand air taxi available to fly you out of nearly any Bay Area public airport to and from Tahoe destination airports in Truckee and South Lake Tahoe. Avoiding the traffic to Tahoe for a ski weekend is one of their favorite examples of the benefits of using an air taxi, and they offer deep discounts for first-time clients. Do note, however, that passenger count is limited to three people, and the small plane is not equipped to carry large items of luggage such as skies or golf bags.
