If you are staying at Everline Resort & Spa or Olympic Valley and are looking for an upscale sports bar, then Sandy’s Pub is your ticket. The pub is an homage to Sandy Poulsen, a local girl raised in these mountains. The Poulsen family are some of the founding members of the creation of what today is known as Palisades Tahoe. There are historical photos outside the restaurant highlighting the story. The dining experience has a typical pub menu with burgers and fries and fish and chips. Locals recommend the baby back ribs. There are six large flat-screen TVs for sporting events, and there is also a huge patio for outdoor seating and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Sandy’s is open for food until midnight unless it is slow season.
