The clear lake reflects the sprawling blue sky, and you may just start wondering if you’re paddling in Lake Tahoe or in the sky! El Dorado Beach in South Shore plays host to this Lake Tahoe annual event, and local vendors as well as members of the Tahoe community come out to cheer on the competitors. Race the Lake of the Sky’s location conveniently places participants near multiple restaurants and accommodations to keep them well fed and rested throughout their activities. This annual event usually takes place in the third weekend in June.
