Join more than 40 artists and craftspeople from around the West for Tahoe City’s Pacific Fine Arts Festival. This Lake Tahoe annual event takes place over the course of two weekends from mid to late August. Art admirers/creators/enthusiasts come together on the open, grassy Boatworks Mall in downtown Tahoe City to appreciate artists’ talents and products against the picturesque Lake Tahoe backdrop. Explore the stands displaying works of photography, oil painting, ceramics, jewelry, pottery, woodwork, metalwork, wearable art and more. Many of the works embrace a Pacific-coast influence that makes them unlike other pieces you might find elsewhere. This Lake Tahoe annual event also gives you the opportunity to meet the artists and craftspeople and ask them questions about their work. It’s a great way to enjoy not only the Lake Tahoe community, but the West Coast’s artistic community as well. The festival has free admission and lasts from morning and until evening, giving you the option to pass through quickly or spend all day examining the products. If you’re an art lover, you won’t want to miss this event. And even if you’re not, the Pacific Fine Arts Festival has the power to change your perspective.
