The logo of a business can tell you a lot about it, whether the culture is hip, conservative, playful, professional or whatever. So when you see a sushi restaurant represented by a multi-colored fish with a big pop-eye, and the place is named The Naked Fish, you know that you’re in for something a little different. At this little shop on Lake Tahoe Boulevard, just a block from Pioneer Trail, they are all about fresh creativity and fresh fish, with a menu that can be called Hawaiian-influenced Japanese. If some in your group are into sushi but some aren’t, it’s not a problem. The Naked Fish also carries a selection of cooked dishes as well, including Beef Maitake and Chicken Kare. The restaurant prides itself on carrying a selection of hard-to-find sake and wine in addition to serving fish creations that you won't find anywhere else.
