Magic Carpet Golf is a fun place to take a break from the beaches and the ski slopes while still spending time in the fresh Tahoe air. The mini-golf site offers patrons the choice of three courses, two with 19 holes and one with 28 holes. Adults and children alike will enjoy the varied themes including a pirate ship, a dinosaur and a castle, and some people may recognize the look of the obstacles, similar to those found at other mini-golf courses designed by the Koplin family during the heyday of family vacation road trips. Magic Carpet is also home to a video game arcade, and sells food and beverages. Magic Carpet Golf provides families and friends a short diversion or a day of fun. Hours and days of operation are contingent upon weather, and it is usually closed in the winter. Magic Carpet is in South Lake Tahoe and Carnelian Bay.
