Little Bird Music offers a friendly, welcoming way to learn the gift of playing piano. Owner and instructor Alice Cotter has played since the age of 4. She holds a doctorate in music from Princeton University, and her deep connection to music helps her advance piano players of all abilities and ages. Her school offers a series of customized piano programs ranging from music theory and composition lessons to individualized musical topics. Cotter aims to assist students in creating a lifelong love for music. She welcomes students ages 4 and older. Other instructors at the music school offer lessons in trumpet, trombone, tuba, flute, guitar, ukulele, and mandolin. Specific music theory and composition programs are customized for intermediate to advanced students who are interested in pursuing a deeper understanding of how music works. Summer music camps are also offered.
