Did you know that one Lake Tahoe annual event is devoted exclusively to chocolate? Okay, wine too, but a chocolate and wine event is one that everyone should get excited about. The Lake Tahoe Chocolate and Wine Festival is held every November at the Hyatt Regency’s Grand Ballroom in Incline Village. Ladies don their pearls and gents put on their finest blazers for an evening of socializing, wine tasting and of course chocolate-ing. The evening begins with boutique wine sampling from high-end Californian wineries, and then you get to savor luscious chocolates created by culinary artists. In between the tastings of wines and chocolates, you can participate in the live auction or try to win prizes at the raffles. At the end of the evening, attendees vote on their favorite wine and chocolate. The best part of this Lake Tahoe annual event is that the proceeds go to Tahoe SAFE Alliance, which is an organization dedicated to preventing domestic abuse.
