July 4th Firecracker Mile

Start your 4th of July off right with the Firecracker Mile. A race that is held in appreciation for this day of celebration, the Firecracker Mile is a fun run for the entire family. A 1-mile, gravity-fed race that is all about the enjoyment that comes from running, this is a competition for all ages and abilities and is based on getting out and appreciating community. A course that is literally all downhill, the route follows the same route that the parade will be following later in the day. The race is from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., with registration beginning at 8 a.m. To inspire the racers, all competitors receive 10% off any full price item more than $50 in the Tahoe Mountain Sports store.
