International House of Pancakes

You may feel that the International House of Pancakes is like a piece of the past, a memory of when you were young and the family would eat out for a special breakfast or lunch. But the IHOP in South Lake Tahoe brings that past right up to the present, steep-roofed architecture and all. And in addition to the breakfast-all-day menu of pancakes, waffles, omelettes and such, they serve soup, salad and burgers as well. Located on Lake Tahoe Boulevard between Ski Run Boulevard and Pioneer Trail, the IHOP is easy to get to and very close to the lake. But be warned, mid-morning can sometimes find it fairly crowded, so you may want to time your visit accordingly.
