High Sierra Gardens is a florist and gift shop surrounded by a beautiful property that serves as an outdoor nursery. Inside you’ll find a variety of fresh flowers, plants, gifts and home decor items including wind chimes, candles, stuffed animals, balloons and greeting cards. They can put together a fresh bouquet or a gift basket with food, fruit, candy or chocolates. The staff at High Sierra designs bouquets and arrangements for weddings and other celebrations as well as funeral and sympathy arrangements. Flowers may be ordered online, and delivery is available. Outside, set in the towering pines, the nursery contains a variety of green and blooming plants and trees in different stages of development. Trails meander through the greenery and across a stream on a couple of footbridges. The nursery is seasonal, open late spring to early fall, and the entire business is closed for the month of January. If so desired, High Sierra Gardens is able to assist with landscaping needs. Next door in Christmas Tree Village is High Sierra Gardens' Christmas Shoppe, a delightful boutique dedicated to holiday gifts, decorations and home decor. The Christmas Shoppe is literally stuffed full of holiday-themed treasures, trimmings and souvenirs. The Christmas Shoppe is open year round.
