From the very start, you’ll have the opportunity to win door prizes, and then teams will compete to win more prizes sponsored by Lake Tahoe businesses as well as national brands. In between rolling the ball and watching others, you can participate in a silent auction. Snacks and lunch are provided by nearby eateries to satisfy appetites induced by all the activity, and you can also sip on beers and wines from local breweries and wineries. The best part about this event is that it raises money for the High Fives Foundation, a charity that benefits people who suffer from life-altering injuries. You can register your team on the day of the event, and there’s a registration fee. This Lake Tahoe annual event is usually held in mid-September in Truckee.
