Fallen Leaf Lake is adjacent to Lake Tahoe and offers a large trail network that accesses the top of Mount Tallac as well as Desolation Forest. This is an excellent campground for hiking as well as fishing, with Fallen Leaf Lake only a few minute walk away. The campground is nestled within a dense forest and offers 206 sites varying between RV, tent and yurt options. The yurts sleep five to six people comfortably and are outfitted with bunk beds. The camp sites have campfire rings, grills, picnic tables and bear boxes for food. You'll find potable water, coin showers and public bathrooms for guest use. There is also a general store selling wood and necessities. This is a summer-only campground.
