Held in late-November in Tahoe City, an Elegant Affair eases you into the holiday season with a food and wine tasting in the festively decorated Boatworks Mall. The area is adorned with twinkle lights, garlands and other décor that are complemented by the scenic views of Lake Tahoe and the mountains. In between mingling with friends, you can sample beer and wines from Californian wineries and taste savory appetizers and sweet desserts from local restaurants. The best part of this Lake Tahoe annual event is how it gives back to the community. The North Tahoe Booster Club promotes the growth and development of sports in local middle schools and high schools and enriches the lives of young athletes.
