The Dam Cafe

The Dam Cafe (a fun play on words with its location next to Fanny Bridge and the Truckee River Dam) is one of the easiest and quickest places to get breakfast or lunch. Just a hop, skip and a jump from the lake and situated directly on the bike path that extends along the lake as well as into Squaw Valley, The Dam Cafe is nicely located to nourish the body in order to take in the outdoor fun that surrounds. Its specialties include breakfast burritos, coffee drinks and stacked sandwiches. The restaurant is in a tiny house so seating is tight, though there are a few tables outside in the summer.
