If you’re looking for an old-school, down-home burger joint, you’ve found it in Big Daddy’s. In a town where most of the food is priced for the tourist trade, the meals here are a lot more reasonable, and you actually get a lot for your money. The trade off is that there are not a lot of bells and whistles at this place, and it doesn’t have a shiny new decor. What it does have is burgers, dogs and chili; whichever you choose, make sure to add a side of the seasoned fries. Outdoor dining is available, but like the inside seating, it’s a bit more utilitarian than decorative. And because this is a Tahoe eatery, beer and wine are also served here.
