Step right into the whimsical winter wonderland of the Barton Health Festival of Trees and Lights. For several days MontBleu Resort Casino and Spa hosts this South Lake Tahoe annual event where people from all over Lake Tahoe gather to get into the Holiday Spirit and benefit Barton Level III Trauma. You can check out handmade wreaths and trees gilded in seasonal décor as you stroll within a tunnel of twinkling lights. Prepare to be entertained by local dancing troupes, choirs, musicians and magicians. And don’t forget the black-tie gala, the event’s largest fundraiser, with its live and silent auctions. This festival is a family-friendly affair, and kids love the Teddy Bear Hospital, Gingerbread Junction and Teddy Bear Brunch. It’s also in the midst of the holiday season, so don’t forget to get a picture with Santa and whisper Christmas wishes into his ear.
