Autumn Food & Wine Festival

Foodies and wine connoisseurs unite in the beautiful Truckee outdoors for a weekend of wining, dining and learning about both. The Autumn Food and Wine Festival at Northstar has welcomed chefs and diners for more than 30 years. This annual event features the area’s best food, wine, spirits and brews in cooking demos, winemaker lunches, cooking/food/wine seminars and mixology sessions. Also, chefs with celebrity status – either in the area or in the country – are there to enhance the experience. This weekend-long event concludes with a Culinary Competition and Grand Tasting and then an awards ceremony for best food, best red and white wines, best spirits, best beer and best pairings. The Autumn Food and Wine Festival was voted one of the Top 10 food festivals in the country by USA Today. This annual event is in September, and it’s a great way to savor a final taste of fresh, local food before the colder weather sets in.
