The nights are finally warm and long, so enjoy the evening with some live music in the great outdoors. Music in the Park, part of Lake Tahoe's Summer Music Series, brings bands to “Salty” Gebhardt Amphitheater in Truckee Regional Park every Wednesday evening from late June through late August. Grab a low-back chair or some blankets and head out for a chill night of listening to regional musicians share their art with you. With music ranging from rock to blues to funk to swing, there’s a little something for everyone. Kick back and listen as the music fills the crisp mountain air, or slip off your shoes and do a little boogie to the rhythm. And don’t forget to pack a picnic basket with your favorite snacks to munch on during the event. And did we mention it's free? Bring your family, bring your friends (but don’t bring Rover). This Lake Tahoe annual event is fun for all ages.
