Local Heroes 4th of July Weekend and Parade

When it comes to celebrating the 4th of July, it only makes sense that we also celebrate the heroes that are in our own communities. This is exactly what Incline Village's 4th of July Weekend Celebration and Parade is all about. With the theme of Local Heroes, the parade brings special appreciation to those who help keep our lives safe, such as veterans, firefighters, sheriff's officers, healthcare workers, educators and service workers. The weekend highlights fun events for the entire family, such as the pancake breakfast and the Firecracker Race, and offers an opportunity to shake hands with the heroes you would like to show your gratitude to. This annual event is sponsored by the IVCBA Community and Business Association, Rotary Club of Tahoe-Incline, IVGID and Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
