Downtown Truckee’s 4th of July Parade starts at the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District Administrative Office and travels approximately 1.5 miles along Donner Pass Road into historic Downtown Truckee. Each year the parade features creative floats, live music, youth groups, classic cars and community organizations that showcase the creativity and hometown pride that define Truckee. All ages enjoy this spectacle that embraces a different theme every year. The parade typically begins late morning, so you have plenty of time to enjoy it before starting the rest of the Fourth's festivities.
