Escape the corporate resort crowds and experience skiing and snowboarding like a local at the community-owned Diamond Peak Ski Resort.

Located right in the heart of Incline Village, Diamond Peak is perfect for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. This family-friendly resort boasts consistent snow conditions and expert grooming, expansive snowmaking on developed runs, wind-protected slopes, terrain suitable for all levels and some of the best views of Lake Tahoe in the region! With all this, Diamond Peak prides itself on being North Lake Tahoe’s premier resort for beginners, families and intermediate skiers transitioning to more advanced levels.

Diamond Peak is known as the perfect place to learn to ski. Instructors are always ready to introduce you to skiing and snowboarding and help you transition into intermediate and advanced levels in dedicated private and group sessions. They offer a Child Ski and Ride Center for ages 3 to 6, a Youth Ski and Ride Center for ages 7 to 12, an Adult Ski and Ride Center for ages 13 and older and private lessons catered specifically to your level and goals. Each instructor is dedicated to help you not only foster the fundamentals, but also transition to higher levels and build confidence on the slopes.

For season passholders who purchase an optional Uphill Access Pass add-on, Diamond Peak allows uphill access for ski touring and snowshoeing, offering a fun workout in the early morning before opening hours or in the later afternoon after closing hours.

During breaks or après, enjoy delicious meals and hot beverages and brews at the base lodge, or take the lift up to Snowflake Lodge for expansive views of the lake.

Don’t forget to take the chair to Diamond Peak’s iconic Crystal Ridge to take in the breathtaking view of Lake Tahoe and surrounding snow-covered peaks. Here you can also enjoy exploring the network of exciting trails catered to intermediate and advanced skiers and riders.

Diamond Peak prides itself in fostering an affordable, safe and fun environment for everyone in the Incline Village community and first-time visitors to the region. They are also committed to implementing sustainable features and have installed electric vehicle charging stations and energy-efficient snowmaking systems. They use environmentally conscious containers and packages for food and beverages and provide continuous education for their employees on local sustainability practices.

The projected opening day for Diamond Peak is Thursday, December 12, snow conditions permitting, so start making your plans for winter fun!
