We're honored to be recognized by the Truckee North Tahoe Transit Management Association with the 2025 Trailblazing Award for our North Shore Trail Reconstruction Project! Completed in Fall 2024, the $3.2 million investment rebuilt two miles of one of North Lake Tahoe's oldest and most beloved multi-use trails. First built in the 1970s, improvements to the trail's surface, safety, and accessibility help ensure this trail can continue to serve as a vital recreation and transportation corridor for decades to come. A huge thank you to our funding partners at Placer County and the North Tahoe Community Alliance for supporting this project through TOT-TBID Dollars-at-Work.
