Advanced skiers and boarders travel to out-of-bounds terrain at West Shore attractions via the snowcat. Once atop Ellis Peak, it is 1,828 vertical feet run to the bottom. For some folks, watching those skilled and brave souls descend is an attraction too!
Get high via travels on tree courses and zip lines at the year-round Tahoe City attraction, Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park off Granlibakken Road. It’s a perfect place for kids, age 5 and older, to use lots of energy.

Rich in Scandinavian-style architecture, the house sits aside Emerald Bay, one of the most photographed sites in the world.
