Vacations can often lead to a few too many adult beverages and plenty of big meals. If you feel the need to flush out those vacation toxins, try Truckee Hot Yoga. At about 105 degrees, the studio practices the Bikram school of yoga with 26 poses and breathing exercises during a class. Adherents say that practicing yoga in a heated environment not only cleanses the system through perspiration but also increases overall health, and the hot temperature allows for deeper stretching and flexibility. Truckee Hot Yoga also offers fitness classes that include interval training and total body fitness. The studio has showers, a rubber floor and dressing rooms. Truckee Hot Yoga has new student discounts and single-class options. And remember — stay hydrated!
