Chimayó Street Grill is one of the newer eateries in town, tucked between the Blue Angel Café and Rip n’ Willies on Ski Run Boulevard. It’s like owner Kai Crowe took all the hip good food from some of your favorite food trucks and brought them together under one roof, combining traditional family Mexican dishes with Southern smoked BBQ. It makes for a fusion-type menu with slow-smoked and grilled meats, with an exotic selection of sauces and aiolis. Top picks off the menu include the Burnt Ends Torta and the Pulled-Pork Chili Relleno. The grill offers some interesting drinks as well, and the bar menu food is really very reasonably priced.
