Sammy Hagar established his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas in 1990. And when he came to South Shore, he said, “Why not one at Tahoe, too?” Thus, Harveys became home to a Cabo Wabo, or as it is known locally, Tahoe Wabo. It’s a casual dining spot with a range of Mexican and Southwestern dishes, and the bar features specialty drinks made with Cabo Wabo Tequila and Hagar’s Beach Bar Rum. The cantina boasts live entertainment every night and is located at the Harveys end of the tunnel that runs under the highway and connects the resort with Harrah’s.
