Dear Alibi Family, Friends and Fans,
We are aware of the Nevada Governor’s office releasing an early re-opening plan that allows restaurants to begin opening again (with strict guidelines) as of today - Saturday May 9. We are incredibly excited to finally be able to welcome everyone back, however we will not be open for on-premise drinking and dining until Friday, May 15. As of this time, we do not have a clear timeline for re-opening Alibi Truckee or our Brewery and Barrel House.
It takes time to re-open a restaurant, and it takes even more time to do it right. We are taking this next 6 days to re-hire and train our staff on our new COVID health and safety procedures, stock up the kitchen and bar and do yet another round of deep cleaning throughout the building. We understand that other Nevada restaurants will undoubtedly be open this weekend, but we pride ourselves on excellence and we are taking the few extra days required to do this right. We are 100% committed to protecting the health and safety of our team, our customers and our community while still delivering the Alibi experience you all love. And this is no easy task.
Through the weekend and early next week, our patio and beer garden will remain closed while we hang the sunshades, sand and re-finish the outdoor tables and bar, and prepare the beer garden for outdoor dining! Thank you for your patience. Trust us, it will be worth the wait!
Our take-out window will remain open for beer and food pick-up service as usual throughout this time and for the foreseeable future. Please continue to enjoy your favorite Alibi beers wherever your adventures take you, and be sure to share those adventures with us on social media. We look forward to welcoming our community back into Alibi back next week!
